Boys Varsity Baseball Falls 4-3 in 8 Innings at Fox Chapel

Penn Trafford fell to Fox Chapel in their section opener 4-3. Down 3-1 entering the 7th inning, the Warriors rallied with 3 hits including a double from junior Brayden Stone and a two out game tying RBI pinch hit from sophomore Logan Matrish to tie the game and send it into extra innings. Fox Chapel was able to secure the victory with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 8th inning. Ian Temple paced the Warriors offensively with 3 hits of his own including a solo home run and double. The Warriors & Foxes face off again Tuesday at Penn Trafford High School at 4 pm.
