The Lady Warriors defeated section rival Franklin Regional by the score of 14-1 Monday evening. The offense exploded for 12 runs in the bottom of the 3rd inning. Cam Ponko hit two home runs in the inning, while Erin Drotos added her first career varsity dinger. Lady Warriors collecting multiple hits on the day include Ponko, Drotos, Kylie Anthony, G. Youngo, and Allison Pokrant.
Allyson Paulone continued to be effective in the circle, holding the Lady Panthers to one run and allowing just four hits. Paulone picked up a season high 8 strike outs against Franklin Regional.
The Lady Warriors travel to Kiski Tuesday afternoon to take on the Kiski Cavaliers.
